Mario Kart 7^[5] (formerly known as Mario Kart) is an upcoming racing game in development for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the ninth installment of the Mario Kart series, the seventh in the main series, the third on a handheld console, and the first for the Nintendo 3DS.
